Friends of Birches is an association for parents, teachers, grandparents and others involved in the school to come together and help fundraise and organise events. This money is used to enhance the learning of children and buy resources that we could otherwise not access. 5k Sponsored Adult Fun Run

Friends of Birches organised a Fun Night at Peatlands Park on Friday 10 June. There was a 5K fun run for adults and activities for kids including a bouncy castle, nail art, face painting, lucky dip and games. There was a BBQ for everyone and members of the community group B.A.R.N. also attended with games, activities and an ambulance. The event was very successful and really well supported by everyone. Thanks to everyone who helped out and to those who came along for the fun. Well done to all those who completed the run!! A total of £940.00 was raised on the night with more sponsor money to come.
